difficult to link to the article itself but checkout http://www.profootballtalk.com. Point out "evil" aspects of the colts and Manning, one I was unfamiliar with, that Manning is secretly envied/hated by the rest of team. Say editors should have turned the column away.

    No Jersey Selected

It's in the Rumor Mill section. It's an extensive read so I won't bother to copy and paste.

claiming that he is envied/hated by his team is a bit of a stretch. Having said that, I hate him.

    http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm

Given his penchant for tracking arrests I was surprised he didn't think to mention the apparently inexplicable disparity in turd watch points over the last couple of seasons either.

And he didn't really tear him a new one, as he is well capable of. It's almost as if the other Pat's bashers are more than a little taken aback by the intensity Easterbrook's vitriol. On the one hand reading it makes them feel uncomfortably connected to someone who has slid into lunacy, while on the other hand he was at the forefront of their managed hysteria campaign just a few weeks ago. LOL

Somehow when he quotes Reiss about Seymour being activated, I start to worry it's only a rumor.

What's he running now, a fact mill?

I haven't read the column yet, but isn't this the same site that said the Pats were going to cut Moss just before the season started, and also that Seymour was done for the year?

And the guy that basically said the Patriots should be kicked out ofthe NFL and that Tom Brady was really Tavaris Jackson because of the spygate scandal.

As for Easterbrook's claim that Brady doesn't do public charity work, maybe he ought to apprciate that old adage about true charity being done for charity's sake and not publicity..( like calling a press conference to announce you're sending relief supplies like....a certain QB did) Yeah it's nice but what were the motives??
Below are links to an owner who probably has no peer in the NFL when it comes to charity and a player and his girlfriend who give without the publicity...

Maybe because Kraft, Brady and Giselle don't call a press conference to announce their charity, you don't hear about it....

She and her husband are worth an estimated $1.3 billion, according to Forbes magazine, making them the 297th wealthiest family in America. In the last four decades, the Krafts have given away more than $100 million, and the pace of their giving is speeding up. Asked why, Myra Kraft is blunt: "There's more resources." In addition to her board work, she manages two foundations, the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation, which had $37 million in assets at the end of 2005, and the team's New England Patriots Charitable Foundation, which had $2 million.

One of my favorite Peyton Manning tales from Deadspin. A little episode Easterbrook forgot to mention.

According to one of the (anonymous) party attendees, Manning spent the past weekend as the main attraction at a girl's Sweet Sixteen party; he was rumored to have been paid $200 grand for a two-hour appearance. (Cedric the Entertainer was also there, which must have been confusing, since "The Entertainer" is also Peyton's nickname.) According to an attendee:

"The first hour was the actual birthday ceremony which included Manning hiding behind a cake with a baker's hat on, then Manning took off the hat and surprised the birthday girl and the rest of the crowd. The second hour was Peyton standing next to a background and a professional photographer, where the entire party lined up to take pictures with him one by one. The pictures were printed and framed and given to the guests as they left."

It looks exactly like all the parties on MTV's "My Super Sweet Sixteen" to me. And now I am angry with you for making me admit that I have actually seen that show.
Manning's camp denied getting paid and said it was "only a sweet sixteen."

I haven't been agreeing with Florio in recent months, but he got this right. How can the Colts be the "good" with Polian and the Irsay family on their side? Easterbrook talks about how the Colts are community focused. The Irsay family are so community focused that they didn't want to tie up rush hour traffic in downtown Baltimore when they snuck the team out of town that altruistically snuck them out at the dead of night. Polian is a great guy that he was trying to show a Jets' staff member proper tackling techniques.

As for the Pats, did Easterbrook see the ESPN segment with Bruschi and the kid with the heart condition from the Make a Wish. It is was sooooo evil of Bruschi to provide little Andrew Geracoulis the day of his life. As others have pointed out, you would be hardpressed to find someone in the NFL who has donated more or done more for charities as Robert and Myra Kraft.

His comments about Brady sounds more like jealousy than damnation. We already know the guy is a perv based on his TMQ column. I think he wants to be Brady with his choice of women.
