    #61 Jersey

Well, that will, at least, free him up to deal with those pesky firearms investigations down at the Carwash, baby!

Can't say I blame the guy, he doesn't need the money; and even if he does he can always rent himself out as a speaker, do broadcasting, write a book, endorse stuff, etc.

Makes me wonder though - was no one else interested in him?

    #87 Jersey

Marvin A-Rod Harrison ... not for the roids ... rather for the season vs playoffs numbers.

    No Jersey Selected

He didn't have to retire though. Even if he couldn't play wide receiver anymore, there was always a spot as a special teams gunner.

Good idea. Retiring from WR, he'd no longer be a target of DBs.

He must have felt a bit gunshy about his ability to get his target within his sights and bring the canon heat required for takedown.

I won't miss the Patriots playing him, but I sure as hell respect this guy. First ballot-lock for the Hall of Fame. That being said, I can't stand him and I hope he goes to jail.

He just got out of having to live in Indy for several months out of the year. I think that's punishment enough.

I can't speak for his recent off-field incident, but Harrison was one of those guys who played the game the right way. He played hard, kept his mouth shut, and was easily one of the top three wide receivers for a decade.

It's too bad this gun incident happened at the end of his career. If it had happened when he was younger no one would even remember it.

If it happened when he was younger he might not have had a career...
