Yeah, I heard he was aiming for a goose but the duck picked off the shot.

Tom Brady is going hunting, too. Raven hunting. Hopefully he'll bag the birds that Manning missed last week.

Didn't know Peyton hunted but some NFL players do. Wonder if Brady hunts. Going to bring my #12 jersey when I going hunting next August.

    Ok, so many opportunities here.

Now I have an image of Peyton firing a shot and missing, giving the Manning face and gesturing with his hand, finger extended, to show the route the waterfowl should have flown.

He went from throwing ducks last week to shooting ducks this week.

Not Manning's fault though, the gun's sights were off

Gotta think he killed the deer by throwing it under the bus.

At least he's not Golfing. That would be a little too cliche.

Who give a flyin fugg about Peyton's "daddy"? He's irrelevant to any discussion of Manning v Brady.

Good to know Peyton is a supporter of the second amendment though.

"He told me he killed, in one day, a duck in Colorado and a deer in Mississippi," Archie Manning told The Associated Press on Saturday.

well...how about that???...he shot one of the left over footballs from the Ravens game then he left in his truck and shot the first billboard of himself that he saw..I got a hint for the Moonhead Base Alpha space alien...shoot the next "personality" you see cuz that's the only "big game" you lack...

He should try shooting across his body while falling backwards. Good mechanics are always the key.

It happens at the Manning Bowl, in Honolulu... One and done is now "special"...

Only because the media who vote it "value" storylines over results. Manning won 5 more games in the regular season than a dynamic duo comprised of Tony Romo's backup and the Jets punt team personal protector - and one less in the playoffs. Not to mention for the bargain price of at least $58M...

I really think that MVP ballots should not be submitted until the week between the conference championship games and the Superbowl.

After the hunting trip when he returns home empty handed, he calls the family together to explain how the ducks failed to do their job.

Absolutely. The unwritten rule that a MVP candidates must be playoff bound is time tested and valid....so let it play out till the end. Relying on Week 17 stats vs amped up playoff conditions......numbingly preposterous. But so isn't having a Pro Bowl without the leagues best crunch time players.
