    Was taken from his home on Cape Cod to surgery in Boston. Prayers out to him and wish him the best.

    Like Peter Gammons alot...best wishes to him and his family...the outcome is not usually good...so extra extra prayers for Peter.

    I agree- I got a bad feeling in my stomach when I heard. Luckily he was close enough to be airlifted straight into Boston, which is one of the best places for him to be.

    I agree..I wish him a quick recovery....was reading about that and oddly, his first CD is out on Rounder Records next week....
