OK Raymond let me break down this down to laymans for you.
Brian Tyms may or may not break out as a player for the Patriots or any team.
Tyms has as sad as a back story as any player In the NFL.
As human beings we naturally root for the underdogs.
Tyms has ridiculous jumping ability and above average speed as well as ideal height for the position.
He was trained by Randy Moss on catching the ball and it showed he was better than any receiver at high pointing the ball as well as timing his catch to the last moment tricking the db as well as having the advantage to make a play on the ball that only Randy could do so well. He showed he could win matchups with speed he showed he could beat the jam.
He said in interviews that he is watching a lot more film.
PS. Your point about lack of targets could be a lot of equations one the offensive line was awful in preseason just because he won his matchup doesn't mean that the qb had time to find him and or get the ball to him.
By the way how many drops did he have? How many wrong routes causing a turnover.
I wouldn't ever count out the possibility that his number was called less so that when his ban is lifted another team wouldn't try to poach him off the practice squad if BB wants to keep him there and let him develop or season him.
I guess the people are who are rootimt for him to overcome his awful upbringing and make the most out of himself as well as see him become the next David Givens or Danny Woodhead is a awful fan and shouldn't post.
I'll continue to cheer for Tyms to make it even if he's in another jersey even if its a Jet.
