Any soft drink can do that.

I know. I used to drink it when I was younger, before I realized how bad it was for me. Can't even touch it now - WAY to sweet.

Maybe this will get me to finally cut down on my soda intake. Sheesh.

Little known and totally useless fact about Moxie, it is the official soft drink of that state.. the inventor of this drink is from Maine, Dr. Augustus Thompson, of Union Maine.

Now that this useless bit of information has been shared, move on folks nothing to see here.

Years ago, I went to the Moxie store in Lisbon Falls, just for the hell of it. Their T-Shirt does in fact claim it is the official soft drink of Maine. I knew this girl from the area who said they even used to have an annual Moxie parade.

In any event, years ago, Mythbusters did a series of tests to determine if soft drinks could polish car bumpers and other things better or at least as well as the usual product. In a lot of cases, the soft drinks did well.

I stopped drinking soft drinks years ago when it became apparent that, after the age of 22, soft drinks don't do much for the waistline.

Drank Mountain Dew when they had the WoW flavors and Halo: Reach on it. Also heard soda is good for cleaning toilet bowls. Don't drink much soda now.
