With the 28th pick in the NFL Draft the Patriots are proud to select Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno St.
Marcus is a better prospect than his former teammate Richard Marshall, and Marshall had a FANTASTIC rookie season for the Panthers. With an ideal blend of speed and size McCauley has the ability to cover everyone the 5'9 speedsters to the 6'4 possession recievers. McCauley is basically a better developed Antonio Cromartie, and is very underrated due to a dismal senior year where he fought off senioritis.
