I've been researching the draft for months now, and today i finally sat down and did my annual first rd mock, this however is the first time ive posted it on here
(note: ive looked over every teams depth charts etc to determine who would fit and of course who would be best value)
Here goes:
-Houston: Reggie Bush
-New Orleans: D'Brick Ferguson (protect drew brees, they have no place for mario williams)
-tennessee: Vince Young (i think its the wrong qb, but this is who theyll take)
-Jets: Mario Williams (really don't want to see this, he will wreak havoc in the afc east)
-Packers: AJ Hawk
-49ers-traded to Arizona for 10th overall and 3rd and 4th rd picks in 06 draft: Matt Leinart
-Oakland: Vernon Davis (this could be cutler)
-Buffalo: Winston Justice
-Detroit: Michael Huff (the next ed reed)
-San Francisco (from zona): Jimmy Williams
-St Louis (I had trouble with this pick): Broderick Bunkley
-Cleveland: (pissing their pants) Haloti Ngata
-Baltimore: (also pissing their pants) Jay Cutler
-Philadelphia: (while minnesota throws some chairs) Ernie Sims
-Denver: Laurence Maroney
-Miami: Chad Greenway
-Minnesota: Manny Lawson
-Dallas: Jason Allen
-San Diego: Chad Jackson
-Kansas City: Tye Hill
-New England: Antonio Cromartie (not too many times can you get a shutdown corner at 21, and the pats jump on it-value, not need, thats why they dont take carpenter)
-San Francisco: Kamerion Wimbley
-Tampa Bay: Donte Whitner
-Cincinnati: Leonard Pope
-Giants: (got some help from my giant fan roomate on this one as i couldnt decide between ryans/holmes/williams)Demeco Ryans
-Chicago: Santonio Holmes
-Carolina: Bobby Carpenter
-Jax: Deangelo Williams (ecstatic he fell to them)
-Jets: Jonathan Joseph (mangini wants to add some playmakers in the secondary)
-Indy: (picking best rb left) Lendale White
-Seattle: Ko Simpson
-Pitt: Pat Watkins
