Interesting. Just curious, are there others you didn't list? The name that comes to mind is Vollmer.

Just to clarify. They earn that by being on the 53 not by being active correct?

I should have been clearer. They earn it by being on the active roster.

So based upon the injury report they may save about $115,000 this week, as a consolation prize?

In cash, yes. But not necessarily cap space

Svitek's active game roster bonus is NLTBE
Mayo - LTBE
Kelly - LTBE
Talib's contract presumes that he will be active for 11 games
Ditto for Amendola.

Plus, Mayo will not likely get a Pro Bowl berth. Mayo had a 300K LTBE Pro Bowl incentive.

Thanks for the info and clarification.

Vollmer has playing-time incentives but not a per-game roster bonus.

See Miguel's UNOFFICIAL 2013 Patriots Salary Cap Footnotes and Documentation Page - Sebastian Vollmer for more details on Vollmer's incentives.

Marquise Cole and Michael Hoomanawanui also have playing-time incentives.

I found it, thanks. As usual, detailed and informative.

If I read it right, Vollmer can make $1m more each year by playing in at least 90% of the offensive snaps. In my mind, that is not chump change. He probably gets a drive or two off each game anyway. If he tweaks a knee or ankle and misses one game, that is gonna cost him. If he drops below 80% the $ drops even more.

What's AT going to buy with his 50¢ ? :p
