Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

Can I say sour grapes??? What a bunch of losers...
Not only are you the worst fans...but the organaizationation has to make flimsy charges so to direct the media away from their dunce coach...
Excuses..LOSERS!!

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

Can you imagine the hatred towards Mangini if this whole thing is just a media deflection tactic. LOL.

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

Actually it was driven by me...I made the whole thing up...

Surprised you guys give me so much credit as to not even deny this.:D

Has your father stopped beating your mother? Yes or no?

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

Not going to be on any of the sites yet, as I just heard it on SNY.

But there are confirmed reports that the league has been investigating the situation with the playcalls, and are now calling on Bellicheck to testify to the league...

Something about a possible suspension was mentioned...

I have one word for you...SOUR GRAPES!!! you really are all LOSERS!!

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

hard to believe that the patriots would stoop to this kind of level. almost on par with that baseball team a while back who had the elaborate sign stealing setup in the centerfield scoreboard. they were relaying pitches to the batter through a series of different sounds.. hopefully they didn't do it, but if they did it would be truly embarrassing.

hey I missed a couple days, I wanted to make sure everyone knew I was back. :D

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

I recall their was some hubbub about the fins stealing our signs last season. No punishment ensued. So if this is about signs, this is a load of crap.

Re: Pats Stole Jets' Calls - the latest fantasy theory

You guys sound exactly like Colts fans when Pat's fanss were moaning about the 'piped in noise' and 'heat on in the dome' theories. I don't believe any of this signal stealing crap for a second just like I know we didn't pipe in noise and didn't turn the heat up.

That was when they said Saban got the field audio and matched up the audio to the audible calls. I guess it is legal to do that. Like someone else said, I don't know what signs we'd even be taping as the playcalls are largely radioed in now - I thought they were anyway.

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

It's definitely a creative conspiracy.

Occupy the Pats hierarchy with this junk so it'll take their time away from game planning.

Yeah, that stuff's all crap, too. I expect teams to do everything within the rules, or even in the margins of the rules, to win. If you guys piped noise in or turned the heat up, and got away with it, all the power to you.

As long as they don't suspend Randy Moss I think we'll be OK.

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

"Though no disciplinary action by the league ever resulted, the Patriots last year were reportedly the impetus of a sternly written letter from the league office to all teams, reminding them that it was illegal for an advance scout or personnel official to bring a video recording device of any kind into the press box for the purposes of taping a potential opponent's signals or play-calling gestures from the sideline."

apparently the patriots were caught doing the same thing in green bay (according to ESPN). packer representatives said the person removed from the jets game was the same person removed from lambough.

Its really not even close. Anything that tells a Batter what pitch is coming, in real time, is incredibly, massively more helpful than this. Imagine the effects of the most powerful Steroid multiplied by about 10.

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

NFL security confiscated a video camera and its tape from a New England Patriots employee on the team's sideline during Sunday's game against the Jets in a suspected spying incident, sources said.

The camera and its tape were placed in a sealed box and forwarded to the league office for investigation, the sources said.

"We don't have any comment," an NFL spokesman said Monday.

The Patriots' cameraman was suspected of aiming his camera at the Jets' defensive coaches who were sending signals to their unit on the field, the sources said. The league also is investigating some radio frequency issues that occurred during the game.

The league's competition committee could conduct a conference call about the incident, which violates NFL policy, and ultimately recommend a penalty that could cost the Patriots a future draft pick or picks if it verifies that the team was spying on the Jets.

"It's not their first time," a member of the committee, who did not wish to be identified, said.

In fact, Green Bay Packers president Bob Harlan confirmed a similar incident that occurred when the Patriots played at Lambeau Field last Nov. 19. The same cameraman who was questioned by NFL security on Sunday was also the one whom the Packers removed from the sideline and escorted from the field during their 2006 game, according to Packers security official Doug Collins.

"From what I can remember, he had quite a fit when we took him out," Harlan said. "We had gotten word before the game that they [the Patriots] did this sort of thing, so we were looking for it."

A Jets official declined comment Monday, directing an inquiry to the league office. The Patriots also did not have immediate comment.

Oh great first thing mentioned on Sportcenter were the Patriots cheating?

This just ruins my happiness of the game man my one friend always says the Patriots are cheaters and so forth I hope to god this is found false but either way this propaganda is gonna sting a bit.

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

This is hilarious.

Knowing BB, if he did in fact do this, so blatantly, I wouldn't put it past him that it was intentional ..... just to mess with Mangini. What's a draft pick or two to BB anyhow?

Re: Bellicheck In Trouble With League

I can't imagine that we would be the only team to do this type of thing, but it does make us look like cheaters ... if it's true.
