Is this a sign that Bruschi or Seau is definitely going to retire now?

TJ Slaughter... he was in for tryouts sometime during the year, wasn't he? Maybe around the time they signed Chad Brown?

Lol. He's got a scary mugshot and his name sounds like an American Gladiator. Maybe next season will be the real "eff you" tour and the Pats just try and kill people.

Little ado about nothing. If anything, Slaughter may compete for Izzo's spot. He's a STer, nothing more.

seau sounded like he wanted anoter shot,
if bruschi hangs it up its going to be real sad.
but this siging means nothing slaughter isnt going to be a starter,
hope fully we can pick up a good inside linebacker in the draft or FA

I just can't see Bruschi and Seau of all people ending their football careers like this.

And I really hope they don't.

This shouldn't have anything to do with Bruschi or Seau.

    On a side note--

    Dear BB,

    Linebackers under 30 exist.

    kthx

I don't think this affects whether Bruschi or Seau come back. He will be a backup/ST player.

    T.J. Slaughter is a PATRIOT.

FYI ...T.J. Slaughter, of Jacksonville has been signed by the pats as a free agent. I like this pick up already. BB and the boys are all over every single deficiency. What do you think about this pick up? GO PATS!

He'll have every chance to prove otherwise, but I think he has a problem staying healthy an entire season.

And 10 games 16 tackles for San Fran doesn't get me too excited.

Still, in February you can't have enough depth. Welcome Sgt. Slaughter!

Sounds like training camp fodder to me. It's time to draft some young inside linebackers for a change!
