Seriously...what is it with all these knee-jerk threads? Why is it that just b/c this team loses ONE guy, it all of a sudden means the FO is bone-stupid, it costed the team a playoff run, etc, etc?

I mean in this age of FA/salary cap/parody, name ONE team that *perfectly* keeps their nucleus intact? How did Ravens fans feel last year when they lost Adalius Thomas? How did the Chargers feel last year when they parted ways with Donnie Edwards(and, of course, Michael Turner this year)? How do Colts fans feel every year going through a fairly high TO rate? Look at how consistent those teams do every year.

On the flip side of the coin-look at teams like the Cowboys, Jaguars, Broncos, Redskins, Jets, etc who think it's some great idea to keep out-spending other teams to build their own...look at how it's turned out for them.

And on top of that-look at other losses the Pats suffered this year-what if they didn't lose Brady? I can name at least 2-3 of their losses that would have been wins. What if they didn't lose Adalius Thomas(?and another DL?)-their much better pass rush would have netted another 2 or so wins. Or how about Rodney Harrison? At least another win right there.(To be frank, Harrison is a much bigger glue to this Pats secondary than Samuel)

Overall-you guys should be proud of this team for overcoming alot of adversity and finishing 11-5. Look at other teams in this league that had high expectations, but underperformed and are heading into the offseason with problems, problems, problems.(i.e. Cowboys, Jags, and Jets)

They shouldn't have run Booby on that sweep in the first place. The game was over already. :D

The Pats went 11-5 without a handful of starters. They need a season with a few more breaks and several fewer injuries, and they'll be back on top.

Dude, you've posted here for long enough to know how many people there are here who have no understanding of the fundamentals of football. The mouth breathers over react to everything on this site.
Release Cassel, his pre season has sucked! Trade Seymour, he's washed up. Cut Vrabel his sack totals are down.
The one thing that you can count on is that this board is congested with morons!

But keep in mind it's a pretty open forum, just about everybody is welcome, even those that make broad sweeping generalizations. ;)

Its not just Booby's hands. Its his body language that's the problem.

That and he hates his coach.

Well it is about time someone has gotten to crux of the Patriots problem.
It is not the absence of the "gay system QB" or various players on the D that has done in the Pats.
It is all about the Booby !

Booby should be the last player the Pats ever draft from Silicone Valley

The lack of Boobys on the squad, and the termination of that 18 yr old hottie cost us another superbowl. I really wish the FO would wake up.

you were talking about the cheerleaders, right? :D
