I predict the "Oh, God, another midget CB" posts to start in about 90 seconds. Unfortunately, I have to head out now.

Perfect timing, since St. Dungy just popped on my TV.

    1) Midget.
    2) BB has always taken short CBs, in BB we trust.

    Rinse and repeat, 3 pages.

I think you're going to see a lot more man coverage this year than we've seen since Law left. I know that BB didn't like all the zone coverage they've been forced to play and these guys they're picking up, along with Hobbs, are better suited to man coverage.

I think this year, we're going to see a shakeup in the backfield. We've got more (new) speed in the backfield than we've seen in a long time on the Pats. Add that to the fact that we now have 2 of the fastest linebackers in Mayo and AD, and I'm seeing a shakeup. Maybe not right away, but I believe the Pats are transitioning.

He's an inch taller than Wheatley. They're getting taller. Patience.

As Mel Kiper Jr. would say, "It's obvious to me that the Jets clearly doesn't understand what the draft is all about".

Let's take another midget CB instead of Goff or Barrett. BB has an obsession with small cornerbacks that needs to be addressed immediately. BB needs counseling.

"Just like Notre Dame's Tom Zbikowski and Archuletta, Barrett is a workout warrior who will greatly impress a team with his athletic ability, but all three fall under the "looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" category. He has the size that the football gods would wish for all safeties, yet needs to be prodded to play up to that level at a consistent pace. He has a litany of injuries throughout his career that makes you wonder if Alan Alda and the M*A*S*H unit is going to be needed on the sideline. It is humorous that some experts compare him to Washington's LaRon Landry. While impressive athletically, he lacks the power, football intelligence, consistency and ability to change the tide of the game the way Landry does."

    Yeah, pull the trigger BB.

It's late 4th round pick... why not take a chance with a guy who ceiling is unlimited for a slow, small CB that might play nickel or dime corner for us

Because he's bad at football? Barrett's ceiling isn't unlimited...he's just big and fast; football is more than that. I see you subscribe to the Oakland Raiders's theory of drafting.

Asante Samuel was the last small/slow 4th round CB we took, for the record.

First off noone who plays division 1 football in college is bad. And I'm not saying he is a sure thing but with coaching up and the locker room around him he could be a very good football player.

Asante Samuel is 5'11 and he ran a 4.45, for the record.
