From the 2000 season through 2006, who would you say had the best rookie seaon for the Patriots? My selection would be Eugene Wilson in 2003. Not only did he have 4 interceptions and 61 total tackles, but he actually made our starting safeties better even after the loss of Lawyer Milloy. His hard-hitting, ball-hawking style of play along with Rodney Harrison provided a nice swagger to the Pats that was intimidating for opposing WR's and TE's. I can specifically remember him dish out some heavy hits against Rod Smith and Reggie Wayne during his rookie year. runner up: Logan Mankins, 2005 did a great job in stabilizing the offensive line even after a season ending injury to Matt Light. He had to protect the franchise QB's blind side. Who would you select as the Patriots rookie of the 21st Century?
