If I remember correctly, veterans who are on the roster as of a certain date (day before game 1???) have their contracts guaranteed for the year.

This could just be an accounting move.

I hope you're right! From the comments by him and BB it sounds like you very well could be.

A surprising day so far. I'm glad they were able to get Redd on the PS. I think this kid has a bright future.

I guess they could discount this now..

I sure hope they resign him come week 2 is all I can say.

this is pretty surprising

Might this also be the case with Bryant too?

I have no doubt that Lynch will be back in week or two, or perhaps after the bye. He is too good a player to NOT have onboard and is exactly the type of player that coach values.

Having said that, I am happy to have already had a couple drinks before I reads this post. That would've done my heart in for sure...

respects,

im starting to get weary of visiting this site...

whats coming next???

Wow, go away for a few hours, and all h3ll breaks loose......

Yeah, geez...a horrible investment right there unless the Pats re-sign him.

Forget your $65.
Didn't the Pats invest a very large bonus here?

Whja think about the the PS?

Did see anyone commenting on this but I thought the
So far, Practice squad looks like some good depth in case of injury.
Nice to see Redd and BJGE there.
With Spann and Richardson they got some depth that has experience
in case our smaller DB's get hurt.

It was reported that his deal was for $1.5 million. His salary was $1.2 million so at most he got a $300,000 signing bonus.

I have yet to see a full list of the practice squad...

Whats left doesn't have to be a signing bonus they are on the hook for though right????? couldn't LTBE or NLTBE or roster bonus' or somethin they are not on the hook for?

So far, pretty good. I think the Pats may do a little maneuvering

with the two open spots. I think they will waive a couple players

currently on the roster and put them on the practice squad. Then,

they will re-sign Flynn and Lynch.

I didn't buy the jersey, and haven't bought one for quite some time (too much turnover, too much risk...most Pats jerseys I have are of players who are no longer on the team anyway), but just thinking how much that would suck for someone who bought the jersey and Lynch doesn't end up on the team.

yeah the only current pats jerseys i have are moss brady and maroney i also have law brown bledose martin and coats

btw after all these cuts a night of hard drinking might be in order. hell i even have tommarow off it would be a pefect night to get slamed
