PATs pass D vs Dolphins Passing attack

How were we going to block Mario Williams, Kyle Williams and Marcell Dareus last year?

Can you stop with the "PATs" thing. They are not an extra point. It's either PATS or pats

OK corrections made. :) thanks for the note.

So now Amendola is gonna cost the Pats a loss or two?

did you miss the part of this offseason where the dolphins lost their #1 CB, #1 RB and their defensive leader?

Doesn't mean he was that great. I mean Dolphins had all the money they needed to resign him if they thought he was that good. They did get
a replacement in Brent Grimes if he returns healthy.

Do you think he will be as effective as Wes was starting with PATS first game? Do you know you know Brady's game is anticipation not reaction?
Do you know it tales time to develop that aspect of a passing game? It
take seeing and reacting to a variety of defensive configurations before
things begin to hum.

All I'm saying here is, if PATs have some stiff competition in the early part
of the season and all offensive pieces are not at the top of their game it
could cost them.

And the same problem won't happen to Tannehill and Wallace, Keller, and Gibson?

I think it is silly to discount the Dolphins or any team in the AFC East. The Phins have done a lot to improve their offense, and the QB is heading into his second year.

They could give the Patriots real problems.

Really so you have that much doubt in Tom Brady, arguably the greatest QB of all-time is gonna lose a few games because he may not have the chemistry he had with Welker? He was winning games and Super Bowls before Wes Welker came to town and he'll be winning games after Welker.

Ya let's also forgot that he still has two guys that he has great chemistry with in Gronk and Hernandez.

If you all been keeping tabs on the Fins you must have noticed
all the new peices added to bolster their pass attack.

Mike Wallace , Brandon Gibson, Dustin Keller

That is significant improvement. No wonder Ryan Tannehill maybe the
biggest breakout player in the AFC East

AFC East 2013 breakout players - AFC East Blog - ESPN

The Patriots biggest Defensive weakness last year was their Pass D.
Is is coincidental that the Fins are trying to make a significant improvement
to their passing attack? Have the Fins decided that this is
the way to get to the PATS and possibly take over the division.

Question have the PATS really done anything significant to insure a much
better Pass D or are they still trying to get buy on the cheap? Is Re-signing Arrington
and signing A.Wilson enough for a woeful secondary? We need pass rush you say.
OK where is the proven pass rusher they added?

I am going to be disappointed if PATS pass D ends up in the lower 50 percentile.
Prediction: if PATS pass D is not significantly improved they
will not win the division and they may not even make the playoffs.

Putting a lot of stock Tranehill just opening this thread.

I do not think Tannehill will be as affected as Tom with new WRs. PATS
offense seems more demanding of the mental aspects a WR needs. Ever
wonder why Wes was able to get open game after game even though
teams had tons of film to watch? That amazing part of the Tom Brady
Welker duo does not come around that often. Tom will be successful I
have no doubt I just wonder how long it will take before they are humming.

I don't think it's about discounting other teams. To say the Patriots are going to miss the playoffs if their pass D doesn't finish in the top 16 is overboard since they've won 25 regular season games with a crappy pass D the last two years. Then to try and justify it because there are new players on the Patriots that won't have chemistry with Brady while ignoring that MIA will have to do it with even more personnel.

Why not try using my whole quote not just the part you want to use
to present a misleading inference.

text out of context is pretext

From the posts you have made so far this seems to be your modus operandi.

they signed one big play WR but let there best CB and maybe the best LT in the NFL walk IMO they are a worst team then last year I cant see them winning more then 7 games

maybe the best LT in the NFL
Maybe a few seasons ago, but not lately. He was the fourth best offensive tackle in the AFC East alone last season.

As of right now, Bills and Jets are already eliminated from 2013 postseason play.

You probably thought there was no way the Patriots would lose to the Bills in 2011.

This is the NFL, any team on any day.

I do not take any team for granted nor do I expect that specific teams will not make the playoffs.

But, I've been watching football for a while.

Any given Sunday is about one game, not a whole season.

And I've been watching football for decades, so I don't see what the hell that has to do with anything.

Shut up. I'm not misleading or taking anything out of context. You think Tannenhill won't be as affected as Tom f'n Brady with new receivers. I don't care what your reasoning is. The fact is that's the statement you made who cares how you come to your conclusion.

How about if Wallace and Gibson just doesn't fit with Tannenhill? I could make that assumption but I won't. Just like it's stupid to make the assumption that Tom Brady is gonna be affected by Welker to the point where it costs them games. If this is the case then he shouldn't even be discussed as even a Top 10 QB of All-Time.

Yowza. Caution free agency may cause delusions of grandeur, see jets 09, bills 12, dolphins 13.
