PATs/JETs advantages

Also from that loss: The Pats' DBs were playing well off the Jets' receivers. This made no sense considering that the field was mud. Bumping them at the line would have thrown off every single timing route with that awful footing. The week prior against the Colts, the Pats did the same thing for the first half and got lit up. In that game's second half, the Pats played bump-and-run and the Colts weren't as explosive. And that was on a better field. Why the Pats didn't take that 2nd-half adjustment against the Colts into their game against the Jets on a horrible playing surface I'll never understand.

What I do understand, though, is that the Pats won't make the same mistake again, even with a nice artificial surface.

Regards,
Chris
