Pats have trouble playing on grass?

Looks like more of a coincidence of timing and quality of opponents to me.

Pats record is so skewed due to how good they've been, particularly at home, for 15 years that there may be a correlation by the pure numbers but I don't see it. Lies, damn lies, and statistics as they say.

Chandler Jones doesn't have any trouble playing on grass

Nah even he prefers the synthetic stuff

Those were my thoughts as well when I first read the article.

Correlation =/= causation

You'd have to go look at the film of each individual game and point out exactly how and why they struggle on grass in order to prove causation. You'd have to somehow isolate that from other variables as well.

Think it's more of a coincidence than anything, the line wouldn't have suddenly become good on field turf.

rough count has them at 20-14 on road since 2012
minus the 3-9
that's 17-5

so the grass is not greener for the pats
