That is surprising. He had some struggles early on, but he made some decent plays too. Good for him.

He had some struggles up to and including the last preseason game. But also, like you said, good plays.

Glad CJackson made it. I'm a fan of Cj Jones so good for him.

Glad they kept Kenny Smith under their control.

Still preferred Gutierrez to Cassel. Maybe they figure he'll slip thru to the PSquad.

Releasing Redd is a gamble, but maybe we'll get lucky and put him on the PS.

Hobson wasn't a surprise.

That ugly Bryant play probably sealed it. So the starters are Wheatley and Hobbs. Trial by fire should be interesting.

I was hoping both Guyton and Redd would make it but clearly if they only had room for one Guyton was the one. I'm surprised Spach made it. I know going with two TEs is light but it's not like he stood out as Rivers did last year.

Wow, I definitely didn't see the Bryant release coming, but I guess that says good things about Richardson, Wheatley, and Wilhite that we may not have seen in the preseason games. Not surprised to see Hobson go, and very glad to see Guyton stick, he brings a very nice UDFA chip that goes well with speed and size.

Bryant was not a shocker to me,A guy that was not good enough to try and keep on the roster of the friggin Lions keeps me aware of how lousy he really is.

I guess we have to see Mr. Cassel for awhile longer on the sidelines, but I am still holding out hope on a Veteran QB to be signed soemhow down the road.
