The quarterback of their secondary and biggest defensive leader and locker room guy outside of Ray Lewis is being placed on PUP and will miss the first 6 games of the season. Thankfully the 6th and final game before Reed comes back onto the field is against the Pats. While Reed is not a one man gang, I think the chances of Brady having a much easier time against that Ravens secondary goes way up - Ed Reed is to the Ravens what Tom Brady is to the Pats, its a huge dropoff. Tom Zbikowski is the replacement at Safety during these weeks - A 3rd round draft pick from 2008. Should be interesting to see what a big hole is left in that Ravens secondary for the first 6 weeks without the 6x pro bowler and how it could change the fortunes of what appears to be one of the best teams in the NFL.
