You know? I think that was it but I threw that day of the calendar away because I didn't think anyone was going to answer it. I remember it was a RB. :D
Cryin' out loud man, at least tell us the answer before you throw it away. :D

This is interesting stuff. Keep it up.

Pretty sure it's George Siefert, no?
Nope, it's not Siefert either.

Man, that was a few days ago. I kept looking at the calendar and thinking it was the wrong day. Kind of like Groundhog Day or something. :D

Mike Ditka.

In addition to New England's Bill Belichick, who is the only other NFL head coach to guide his team to back-to-back, 14-win regualr seasons?

Vince..........Wil.............Ok, perhaps not! Bill Walsh?

I'm sure I'm right. SF 49ers record in 1989: 14-2... in 1990: 14-2. George Siefert was the head coach both those years. Maybe there's another one you're thinking about, but I'm sure it happened at least in 89/90 with the Niners.

That is right. Ditka also did it, leading the '85 Bears to a 15-1 record and the '86 Bears to a 14-2 record.

I don't know, the only answer on the calendar was Ditka in 85 and 86.

In keeping with our educational system today, there is no wrong answer.

There are just answers that need improvement. :rocker:

Wasnt that Walsh in the first year then Seifert in the 2nd.

No, Walsh retired in 1988, with Seiffert coaching from 1989 to 1996, per the SF 49ers website.

I think the Calendar is wrong.

You sure? Colclough wasn't a RB. But he was definitely our best receiver for years.

And I don't think they threw to RBs much back in those days.

So go to the wastebasket and pull the damned calendar out.:enranged:

It's long gone but I am positive that it was a RB.

I have one that I saw on an obscure NFL trivia special on ESPN, so if anyone saw it then this question will probably be pretty easy.

What former or current Pats player is related to Evil Knievel?
