What is the longest play from scrimmage in Pats history?
Tom Brady 99 and 1/2 yard QB sneak
Is it the 92 yard pass to Patten back in 01 against the Colts?
You are correct except it was recorded as a 91 yard pass.
Yeah at first I was thinking 91 but I made myself change it to 92.
Something I painfully learned through school... always go with your first instinct.
Here's part two of the trivia. What else was unique about that game that Patten did that hadn't been done in 22 years before and in the 5 years since???
Hint- Walter Payton in 1979
He ran, threw, and caught a pass for a TD. In fact, he had 4 TD's in the game if I remember right.
Patten ran for, caught, and threw a touchdown pass in the same game. Any Pats fan should know that one!
I believe Tomlinson has done it more recently, was it last season?
Right, mea culpa....
Wasn't that Brady's first game as a starter? And at Indy?
Brady's first start was against Indy but it was in Foxboro. Patten did his thing later on against Indy in the road game.
Separate names with a comma.
