Doesn't mean he can't be effective. But if that's going to be his weakness at the pro level, I'd rather the Pats figure that out now and deal with him accordingly. Still wondering if the long-term plan is to move him to safety.

Logan Ryan's best defensive scheme fit is in the Cover 2 and he has to have safety help when defending against a receiver like DeSean Jackson.

His collegiate film shows that he has a hard time recovering once the wide receiver gets behind him and I wouldn't expect any different in the NFL.

With that said - when the play is in front of him, he is a solid one-on-one tackler including against the run.

- Hearing Bill Belichick gave the 'cut' sign to Chip Kelly's music.. It's much quieter here today.

- #Eagles WRs really struggling to get off press coverage by #Patriots in first round of one on one's.

- DeSean Jackson burns Talib and hauls in a perfectly thrown Nick Foles pass for a touchdown.

- Matt Barkley throwing lasers on the opposite side of the field.

- Kinne throws a back shoulder pass to Damaris Johnson who did a nice job coming back to the ball to make the grab.

- Tom Brady doesn't need fly swatters in 7 on 7's.. Tom Terrific also doesn't throw incompletions in 7 on 7.

- Foles nearly picked off by Talib along the sideline. Could have been returned for a TD if intercepted.

- 11 on 11 time. Nick Foles up first.

- McCoy stuffed for no gain.

- Bryce Brown picks up a couple yards on a dive up the middle.

- Bryce Brown got popped behind the line of scrimmage.

- Foles fakes a handoff, and hit DeSean Jackson who burnt Logan Bryant, in stride for a 50-yard touchdown.

- Vick in there now.

I am interested in how Shepard looks against our corners. He is a project like Denard Robinson as Shepard played QB/RB/WR at LSU.
