Hi.

I'm doing some research about sports fans and local traditions. Is there anything you can tell me about Pats fan traditions? E.g any foods, chants, nicknames, songs?

Anything would help.

Thanks a lot

i would like to know this too!! it'd be great to get pumped up with some of the traditions! sorry just wondering, you were probably expecting an actual answer here. :(

They have the guys on the sidelines fire the muskets after a score.

Cheers song during TV timeouts.

The crowd screams in unison 'first down' after a first down, but I think that's the same everywhere.

Other than that the only Patriot-exclusive tradition I can think of is the NFL's worst traffic jam in and out of Foxboro every time the Pats have a home game.

Really?

Nicknames=cheaters and *

Oh you are TOO funny. It's even better when they play Sanchise and the Jest coached by Mr.Foot Fetish himself. If I'm not mistaken the Jest cheated as well. Trip-gate? And you STILL lost that game?
