FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WTVA) - Former Northeast Mississippi Community College and LSU tight end Logan Stokes has signed with the New England Patriots.

Stokes played at Northeast in 2011 and 2012 before transferring to LSU.

The 6'5", 255-pounder was utilized mainly as a blocking tight end during his time at LSU. He played in 13 games last season and caught his only reception on a three-yard touchdown pass in LSU’s 10-7 win over Ole Miss.

Good blocking TE...Wright was more of a receiver. Good mini camp competition for Derby, Bequette, Mundine and possibly Hooman who is also primarily a blocker...IMO.
