I wonder if some of these people also read the entrails of small animals to figure who the Pats "are going to cut next."

I wonder if we are going to be playing a 7-2-2 defense ?

The substitution patterns are going to be interesting. As I said in another thread, it's going to be like a hockey team out there.

I don't think we'll see as many subs as people are saying here. Keep in mind that most of the DL won't make it onto the 53.

so....to summarize, the pats have the following in camp right now or very soon.....

65 Cohen, Landon DE ACT 6'3" 300 8/3/1986 4 Ohio U.
99 Wright, Mike DE ACT 6'4" 295 3/1/1982 7 Cincinnati
71 Deaderick, Brandon DE ACT 6'4" 305 8/19/1987 2 Alabama
90 Richard, Darryl DT ACT 6'4" 295 6/17/1986 2 Georgia Tech
74 Love, Kyle DT ACT 6'1" 310 11/18/1986 2 Mississippi State
92 Haynesworth, Albert DT ACT 6'6" 335 6/17/1981 10 Tennessee
91 Pryor, Myron DT ACT 6'1" 310 6/13/1986 3 Kentucky
97 Brace, Ron DT ACT 6'3" 330 12/18/1986 3 Boston College
93 Williams, Steve DT ACT 6'2" 300 9/21/1981 2 Northwest Missouri State
66 Weston, Kade DT ACT 6'5" 315 11/29/1986 2 Georgia

plus G Warren and S Ellis.....12 in all

anyone care to guess which 6 will be on the roster week 1?

mine is: wilfork, haynesworth, wright, ellis, brace, and weston

Makes me worried Big Al is out for a while.

I say go with the 11-0-0.

Pick the guys who are wide enough that when standing side-by-side, the line stretches sideline to sideline. Nobody offensive player crosses the line of scrimmage!

They can even lock arms.

Bill got the idea from that old playground game, "Red Rover"

Ron Brace, ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.

Can we say logjam on the DL? There's gonna be a scrap for survival and only the biggest, baddest muthas are coming out of that camp with a job!!

Nah, 0-0-11 Haynesworth as SS III and Wilfork as a Penny Back they can just employ the "Bum Rush" defense and just rush the offense from 10 yards out

Silly boy,

you cant learn anything from the excrements of small animals but on the other hand BB actually hides all his secrets in his feces, All of Vince's strength comes from his flatulence (Ball is snapped and Vince breaks wind giving him a sort of rocket that allows him the strenght to stop 2 OL dead in their tracks), Brady's poop smells like roses and his kids clean their own diapers, and Kraft has been known to crop dust around Gillette.

What's that post about feeling dumber after reading something . . . ?

I haven't read the whole thread but what I did read was pretty negative. For some reason people seem to be taking every move they make to put together the best roster they can as an indictment of one player or another. I think Belichik is just trying to get as many good players s he can in camp so he can check them out and arrive at the best team he can field. We rally have no idea who is hurt or who is running out of time and the speculation that guys like Cunningham or Brace are about to get cut is baseless and sometimes mindless. There's nothing wrong with loading up cutting from a position of strength and it's certainly much better than the alternative.

If we go more 4-3, maybe we keep up to 8?
