Chad Jackson, eh. Interesting...

Well, NLS needs to do their homework better.

The RB from Army's name is Carlton JONES. Not Jackson.

Not sure if the kid has the height/weight ratio to be an every down back in the NFL, but he's listed at 5'9 and 198 lbs.

However, he is VERY intriguing and is supposedly a complete back. Gets very good KUDOS from NFLDRAFTSCOUT.COM.

blossomed into one of nation's premier running backs a year ago ... earned team's "Sledgehammer Award," presented to "the Army Football player who consistently demonstrates the greatest physical and mental toughness during spring ball" last spring ... dangerous weapon operating out of Army's backfield ... exciting physical package.

Features excellent vision, quick feet and soft hands ... consistent performer ... heady player who takes advantage of every opportunity presented ... shifty runner with excellent burst through line of scrimmage ... hits hole with authority ... boasts excellent balance and power ... tremendous cut-back runner ... durable performer with ability to catch ball out of backfield ... plays game with great deal of passion ... harbors infectious enthusiasm ...

The error is mine, not theirs.

They've also now listed Chris Gocong, Davin Joseph, and TJ Rushing.

Does anybody have a list of the 20 guys the Patriots worked out last year????

bump. good question.

Here's the 2006 list that I've seen in two places :

Maurice Drew, RB, UCLA
Chad Jackson, WR, Florida
Davin Joseph, OG, Oklahoma
Chris Chester, OL, Oklahoma
Chris Gocong, DE/OLB, Cal-Poly
Kamerion Wimbley, OLB/DE, Florida State
Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida State
Richard Marshall, CB, Fresno State
Tye Hill, CB, Clemson
Ray Edwards, DE, Purdue
TJ Rushing, DB, Stanford

Carlton Jones - Idk about him..he hasnt been very good in YPC..look at his game logs..just doesnt seem consistent enough

TJ Rushing - one of nations best return men..intriquing

I remember Channing Crowder and the Georgia LB Cincy took - though I'm, not sure now if they brought him in or had a private workout at the campus.
