It's time to make some changes, starting at the top (Pioli and Belichick.)

If Patriots don't get back on the upward track, at this week's rate, the Patriots will tie the 19th game from now and lose the 20th.

I think replacing Brady and Belichick is always on the table. It's just a matter of finding some people who are better.

Let's see. They have scored six times in each game
    5Td,1 Fg
    5 TD 1 fg
    5 td 1fg
    4 TD 2 Fg

and have given up an average of 2 scores a game
    2 Td
    2 TD
    2 TD 1fg
    1 TD 2 fg.

**The most amazing stat is one holding penalty accepted on offensive lineman (Light last night) in 4 games. It's probably a result of the respect for the passing game limiting the pass rush coupled with an O Line that is talented and well coached and has played together a few years.....Oh and a great receiving corps that knows how to get open sooner so they need to hold their blocks for less time.

This is an amazing stat. I think it is largely due to teams being afraid to blitz the Pats because that leaves single coverage on the outside. If they don't get to Brady, it is a big play waiting to happen.

Because of that, I expect a lot of of what happened last night. The Bengals dropped a lot of guys into coverage with their S deep. That means the Pats will have to be patient by running the ball and throwing underneath more. Brady's interception came because he was pissed about the penalties leading to 3rd-and-long and he forced the ball downfield into the coverage. However, after that he stayed patient and took what the defense gave him. it is a slower death.

Given the way they have run the ball effectively they are putting together long drives. Their edge in Time Of Possession is just sick.

So... let's just say the Patriots spotted their opponents 3 touchdowns and a field goal lead in each of the first four games...

    They STILL would be 4-0!
