Hi there!
My husband and I got married on August 4th, and we decided to build our Honeymoon around the Patriots schedule and tour the east coast at the same time. We are going to the Pats/Ravens game in Baltimore, as well as the Pats/Broncos game in Foxboro! We are so excited!

Neither have us have been to either location before, and we have a few questions:
- How is seeing a game in Baltimore as a non-Raven fan? (I ask because we went to the Pats/Raiders game, and I was sometimes in fear of my safety in my Patriots gear :( )
- What are some recommendations for things to do the day before the game in Foxboro, other than the Patriot Hall of Fame?
- Are there good suggestions of places to eat or stay in Foxboro?
- We haven't gotten tickets for the Pats/Broncos game - any tips for that, other than StubHub? We would absolutely love some great seats, but it looks like they're wicked expensive. I am willing to pay that if I eventually have to, but any tips are greatly appreciated, or if anyone is willing to sell us theirs at face value or a little more (think of it as a wedding gift ;) ), let me know!

Thank you so much! We can't wait to experience Patriots football on the east coast!!!

Hey Kimmie Lou, congrats to you and your hubby, and

:welcome:

I don't have any first hand experience at Ravens games. Perhaps as the game approaches there will be more conversation about other's previous experiences there during the week leading up to the game.

As far as what to do during your week in the Boston area, I would suggest at least one meal in the North End and also on dinner featuring haddock and chowder at just about any seafood restaurant of your choice.

Here are a couple of older threads that might give you some additional ideas:

As you can see from some of the threads above, be prepared for heavy traffic and expensive parking on game day. The train is one alternative, but has as you can see some mixed reviews. There is also a bus service to the game but we don't have any reviews on that as of yet.

Enjoy the games! If you get a chance we'd love to hear your review of the other stadiums you visit, as well as any tips for other out of towners visiting Gillette.

Kimmie tell your husband that we think he married a goddess, it took my wife 20 years to get into Pats football.
