I hope everyone is enjoying and soaking up every moment of this current Dynasty. Looking at it it's hard to not see the similarities between the 90's Cowboys 49'ers rivalry

Cowboys (3 superbowls in 4 years)

1993 won Superbowl (Beat SF in playoffs)
1994 lost to SF in NFC Championship game
1995 won Superbowl
1996 lost to Car in AFC Divisional game

Patriots (3 Superbowls in 4 years)

2001 won Superbowl
2002 missed playoffs
2003 won Superbowl (Beat Indy in playoffs)
2004 won Superbowl (Beat Indy in playoffs)
2005 lost to Den in AFC Divisional game
2006 lost to Indy in AFC Championship game

49ers (1 Superbowl)

1992 lost to Cowboys in playoffs
1993 lost to Cowboys in playoffs
1994 won Superbowl (beat Cowboys in NFC championship game)
1995 lost to GB in NFC Divisional game

Colts (1 Superbowl)

2003 lost to Patriots in AFC Championship game
2004 lost to Patriots in AFC Divisional game
2005 lost to Steelers in AFC Divisional game
2006 won Superbowl (beat Patriots in AFC championship game)

The big difference is that unlike the Cowboys, New England is just getting started.

I agree, BB is locked up long term and Brady has at least 5 more years that he will be in his prime and New England is now the premier spot for free agents to sign. Sky is the limit

Not if the Colts have anything to say about it. Plus your franchise doesnt take care of one of your premier players on D that is Samuel so how can that make FAs willing to come to your franchise as opposed to the Colts?

Yeah free agents like Adalius Thomas ignored the Patriots because they didn't sign Samuel to a long term contract

Meanwhile your franchise takes good care of David Thornton, Cato June, Jason David, etc.

That's correct... by their third season after their final Super Bowl, they had a losing record, and proceeded to post losing records in 5 more of the following 8 seasons.
