Josh Barret was a Bronco Safety who, after being placed on injured reserve, had surgery to remove one of his Ts.

I thought if you stick a guy on IR you get to keep him. Apparently we snagged him from Devner. Can Denver snag him back if we try to put him IR? Why didn't anyone snag Brady when he went on IR?

Even as a Sun Devil and someone who watched Barrett play his whole career at ASU, this signing does nothing to excite me. Barrett was consistently one of the most frustrating players on the field. Tons of talent and a great frame but generally scared to hit anyone and not very good in coverage. Not to mention how often he is injured... His senior season was a disaster.

During the offseason, players have to clear waivers before going on IR. During the season, teams can put them straight on IR.

My best friend is a Bronco Fan, Barrett was his binky.
I've watched alot of Bronco footage of Barrett particularly.
His game is alot like Arrringtons.
Relentless to the ball quicker than he should be, can deliver a pop when he's in position. Now that's where the similarities end, he takes wrong angles does not wrap up properly. He does have decent hands and I saw him rail in a pair of interceptions playing against scrubs.

The Patriots confirmed that they have claimed S Josh Barrett off waivers from the Broncos. They announce the release of RB Thomas Clayton.

So there we go, somebody had to be cut.
