I'm watching to see if Randy Cross can get the Pats players names right for once.

For the sake of your liver, don't make that a drinking game.

Or play better

I'm certainly hoping so, but not expecting it... unless he's been wearing 100 weights around his ankles in his daily life to improve his foot quickness.

All this crap about trading Welker made me think that the Patriots are just platooning receivers in this three games in ten days schedule. Branch game one - Lloyd, Stallworth and one of the tight ends tonight, and Welker, Gaffney and the other tight end on Wednesday against the Giants. They all get some PT and nobody gets a look at the whole group at work as a unit.

All the running backs are active tonight. That is probably the most significant group offensively to watch. We'll get a feel for the FBs and how they fit in, if at all. I'd love to see Larsen or Kettani play an important role. Serious fullback blocking presence is something we needed in the AFCC and the SB last year. I can still see no FBs on the 53.

I will be very curious if there is a strong fullback presence in this game. And even still, if it's effective. They might use a fullback, but just to test how effective it is. So if we see the fullback tonight, it might not mean they're planning on carrying one. It's a valuable roster spot.

1. Does Solder improve?
2. How does Tavon Wilson look playing meaningful snaps w/ starters?
3. How many points does first team D give up
4. Does Dennard look like a 2nd round pick or a 7th round pick?
5. Play of Chandler Jones

Is Cannon still leaking like a sieve?
Is Brady comfortable in the pocket, or not?
Can the 1s on D force 3 and outs?
Can the Patriots run it when they want to?

Is the game being shown on TV in RI? I did some googling but I can't find it.

I have Cox.

I would assume most of us guys in here has one as well

The following are not expected to be playing tonight:

OT Sebastian Vollmer
OT Matt Kopa
TE Visanthe Shiancoe
WR Wes Welker
WR Jabar Gaffney

DL Gerard Warren
LB Tracy White
DB Patrick Ching
DB Will Allen
DB Ross Ventrone

Plus of course those still on PUP, NFI, DNR: Brian Waters, Jake Ballard, Markus Zusevics, and Myron Pryor.

Considering that he's on the bubble, kinda surprised that Will Allen isn't playing. Also, wonder if Jeff Demps is playing.
