Tell Tim Tebow that Sheriff Brady is coming to town

    Enough already.

The Chicago Bears shot themselves in the butt in regulation with the stupid play to stop the clock and the fumble in overtime inside field goal range. Idiots adding fuel to the Tim Tebow fire.

They interview Tebow and he thanks God and his teammates for believing blah, blah, blah. Tebow should have thanked Lovey Smith for not telling his team to run out the clock and keeping two hands on the ball. God had nothing to do with it.

I think it's time Tim Tebow showed he could keep up with Tom Brady and the Patriots. I also think it's time evil genius Bill Belichick spent a few extra minutes in front of the cauldron cooking up something special for Mr. Tim Tebow. The Broncos are the last possible playoff team on the schedule and it is time to send the NFL a loud and clear message like the Packers did today.

That Broncos offense stinks if the edge guys maintain a little discipline and defensive backs press the receivers rather than dropping back like Chicago did in the 4th quarter and overtime. The Broncos defense is very good but probably not ready for the no-huddle and Gronkowski.

It's been a while since I felt as passionate about wanting the Patriots to crush an opponent convincingly like I do right now. Please join me.

Looking ahead: Keys to beating the Broncos

I think the biggest key to beating the Broncos is getting a body on Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil. If our lineman can effectively block them on pass blocking, I think we will run away with this one. We will be able to score and make Tebow and their offense get into a shootout with us, and I think that favors us greatly. I can't see Tebow being able to drive consistantly, but if we can't protect Brady from those guys and it's close in the 4th quarter, who knows what happens.

Feel free to share your key(s) to the game.

Re: Looking ahead: Keys to beating the Broncos

The Oline is key as is the playcalling. I think our defense bounces back and has a solid outing next week, the key will be not having a plethora of 3 and outs as that Denver D is the real concern here. Don't put our D in tough situations with their backs against the wall and don't tire out the D with 3 and outs or else Denver could potentially start running all over us. The *mystique* is somewhat intimidating especially given our history at Mile high and it won't be an easy game at all. But it's been alot of bad teams that Denver has barely beaten, needing some awful plays/decisions to do so. This is a game that any team that is seriously considering a super bowl run is going to have to win.

Start of fast and control the tempo of the game. Don't allow it to be a close game.

You sure about the over-under? 157 seems a bit high.

This can't be. The posters at Patsfans.com have educated me that the Patriots will be one and done in the playoffs. Denver is going to be a playoff team it appears, and we are playing them on the road.
Oh, I forgot part of the plan is football in the regular season is different than in the playoffs. I think they change the rules or something.

The New England Patriots have scored 31 or more points for five consecutive weeks. The Patriots defense is setting the table for career days for these back-ups who just keep coming (including Tim Tebow.)

    Take the over.

I don't think anyone here is particularly worried about teams like the Broncos, Jets, Bengals or Raiders in the playoffs. The Texans, Steelers or Ravens are another story, though.

Right Andy, because any team that just had incredibly sub-par efforts with teams that were a combined 4-21 in the past 2 weeks should feel incredibly optimistic about going out to Mile Hile, where they have generally had problems...

For what it's worth, I too think that N.England wins this game by at least 14-17 points; but you can't find fault in those who are a bit leery, can you?

The key to stopping Tebow and his Tebowing is very very simple

A Gronk Spike it would cause the ground to shake an make it imposible for him to Tebow

    see problem solved

The Pats can only play the next game. They have not accomplished anything, yet.

We can't worry about the playoffs until the Patriots earn a playoff spot.

The next three games are treacherous for these Patriots who needed a last minute onside kick recovery and a last second turnover to beat the Colts and the Redskins, respectively.

John Fox and his Broncos are winners, the Dolphins are a tough group (I do not understand why they fired Sparano this week) and the Bills have proven they can beat the Patriots.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

OTOH: The Donkeys have only beaten mediocre teams, and seem to have the same "horseshoe insertion" problem the JEST have.

The LOLphins gave up 500+ passing yards to TFB.

And the Bills only beat the Pats because somehow TFB's switch got changed from "Awesome" to "WTF?" in that game. I don't see him having another 4-TD game at home against them.

In other words: Be nervous. Be somewhat nervous.

I think he was joking. You see, both Brady and Tebow are capable of putting up a lot of numbers and...oh, well, never mind.

yeah, we sure took care of the Jets last year and we're like, what, 1--3 against the Broncos, including the Playoffs, in the last five or six years. So, no problem with those teams.

Tebow is capable fo putting up a lot of numbers? Tebow hasn't had a 3 TD (rushing and passing combined) all season.
