Breaking news, hushed up for several days is now out. Capital police were not allowed to perform a breathalyzer test on the staggering Kennedy. Is it still 1969 again? Like father like son.

EDIT - my error. It happened last night. Heard it on Howie Carr WEEI.

It was 3AM the Idiot told the cops he was on his to cast a very important vote, the problem was where he voted closed 3 hours earlier.

The cops seem to be covering for him, not the cops that syopped him but their bosses, they rode the jerk home, no sobriety test.

THE KENNEDY FIX MACHINE IS ONCE MORE IN MOTION.

There should be a law passed keeping ALL KENNEDY"S AWAY FROM AUTOMOBILES. His old man taught him how to drive.

The first thing a Kennedy is taught to say when they tangle with the cops is
"Do you know who I am"

IMAGINE THE PARTY THE NEO DEMS WOULD BE HAVING NOW IF THIS WERE "JENNA BUSH" :rocker:

Not defending him, but anyone have confirmation that he was swaggering or drinking?

Nice work on the links, Boy.
Looks like another fat cat gets off with good connections.
It's funny...the same thing happenned to me 20 years ago. I had too much to drink, was driving home and hit some ice as I was parking in front of my house. The cops all heard that I was the son of and electrician and lived in this wonderful three-decker apartment. They were very impressed with my 1970 Plymouth Satellite Sebring with no hubcaps and two-tone primer finish. They let me go and saw to it that I was OK getting in.

Wait a minute...that last part didn't happen. Guess what did?

Sounds like he needs to go back to rehab. If he doesn't, then someone will unfortunately pay down the road.

They have no character, no shame, no pride, they are a disgusting tribe.
Old Joe Kennedy the father is to blame for most of the dishonesty, the lying and cheating, he taught them that, he was a philandreing old ruthless crook.

Old Joe encouraged his sons to be just like him.

History will never forget Mary Jo.

Watching Uncle Teddy question Judge Alito's "Ethics and Morals" was enough to make a person VOMIT.

A good start would be to come out of the closet. His constituents could care less but the word is that Daddy Ted is against it. Big Ted's life is a paradox of reality and Patrick's life is the result of it all.

You could also say that Ted's life is the result of Joe Sr.'s unusual lifestyle. If I were Pat's kid, I'd steal a car (one of the Hummers at the compound) and head for Costa Rica for good. Stop the cycle of violence!

Will not defend Patrick, but as usual there is more to any story that Drudge Reports, he is a manic depressive which usually means some pretty heavy duty drugs...he is also a recovering alcoholic..earlier in the evening he was prescribed something for a GI problem and he also took some ambien...he claims he woke up from the accident disoriented, not knowing where he is...if you follow the ambien lawsuit and effects this could have happened. The Herald is reporting he was in a bar earlier and may have had a drink.

With that being said, the DC police should have given him a breathalyzer and if they did this whole thing could be put to bed either way.. the preferential treatment of all of the fortunate sons sometimes becomes their scourge.

    WTF, GJA15?
You start out with "Will not defend Patrick" and then go on to defend Patrick. You blame his parents, medicine, the police, manic depression, alcoholism,...everything but HIM for his actions. Smarten up.

Surely you must have heard it elsewhere, I hope the hand wringing Kennedy Worshiping "Lefties" aren't going to "Blame Drudge" for the actions of this "Kennedy Brat"

Drudge alone didn't report it, it just happens that Drudge was one of the first to report it, even the the Squirming Liberals over on CNN had to hold their noses and mention it.

If it wern't for Drudge the world may never have heard the name
    "Monica Lewinsky".

At times, Drudge tells America all the things CNN doesn't want us to hear, and that is good.

Don't worry about those sorry ass Kennedy's, the fix is in.

This isn't so much about a Kennedy as it is with all the politicians on Capitol Hill. I watched Joe Scarborough last night and he interview with two people familiar with Washington politicians. All were in agreement that the problem was with ALL politicians and that Kennedy did not receive any preferential treatment. The Capital Police provide this service to all the politicians on the hill, for they are the ones that control the Capitol Police. So actually, the fix is in on all congressmen.

Like Patters, he's a pure ideolog who cannot help but defend the indefensible. It's an automatic reaction.

Not so quick to judge when it is one of their own! Another reason why I hate the 2 party system. Almost nothing is judged objectively on its own individual merit, everything is thrown into a soup bowl.

What are you talking about Pissah? Please don't call me names and accuse me of defending the indefensible without citing examples. I'll give you credit though. On more than one occasion, you've stopped defending your points I presume because you recognized your point of view was indefensible.

I can't wait until he is quoted as saying:

"It's not like I killed someone!"

    please say it, please.......

That being said, I highly doubt that a Republican house member would have received any different treatment than Kennedy did, they all look out for each other.

I have called you on this ideological propensity numerous times.

I don't believe in beating a dead horse. I stand by my logical defenses of my positions.
