Is it part of a 'bend but don't break' defense to allow medium-length (i.e., 8-15 yard) passes, so they can focus on the running game and long passes? Or is it not part of our scheme and we just have a not stellar secondary?

Incidentally, the Chargers secondary blew me away with their mad skillz tonight. It is just scary that they are all young. We'll see the Chargers again in the playoffs soon....

Go Pats. I'm flying up to New Hampshire Friday of SB weekend to watch with my family. Anyone else from the Amesbury, MA or Hampton NH areas?

We just had 3 straight week of 7 foot recievers. Harrison is the tallest man in that secondary.

the chargers put better pressure on brady than the pats did on chargers with only a 3-4 man rush meaning more men in coverage.

Good point. I was surprised we didn't blitz Rivers more. It seemed quite effective when we did.

Yes. Lord willin' an' the rushers don't hit the QB, you can hit those passes on the Pats or most other defenses all day.
