Parcells regrets leaving

So it only took 17 years for Parcells to realize he was an absolute douchebag who couldn't do JACK without having Bill Belichick on his staff?

There was blame on both sides, but Parcells was a total d**k about the whole thing and made a mountain out of a molehill. For perspective, look at his friend and rival coach Mike Holmgren. He told the Packers he wanted to be both a coach and GM. The Packers told him they only wanted him to be a coach. So he quietly looked around, talked to some other teams, and then signed with Seattle. He was practically a church mouse compared to how Parcells handled it.

Screw Parcells. Like the sign in the stands at the '97 "Tuna Bowl" game said, "Bad Tuna turns GREEN!"

I'm not a conspiracy theorist and I won't say Parcells threw Super Bowl 31 to spite Kraft, but the coaching in that game was not only terrible, it was curiously terrible.

The obvious kicks to Howard, removing the double team from White and putting Max Lane against him one on one with predictable results, trying to defend Packer receivers with only a safety (which Favre recognized and audibled into 14 easy points), pulling Troy Brown off the field on special teams...

And he was curiously nonchalant after the loss saying only something like "oh well, we almost had them"...

Parcells is an NFL HOF'er but imo should not be a Patriots HOFer.
