Carl Cameron from Fox News tonight on Sarah Palin:

    * She thought Africa was a country and not a continent. Believed South Africa was the southern part of the country of Africa.

    * Couldn't name the countries in NAFTA.

    * Was a shopaholic, bought $150k in clothes w/party funds.

    * Was late for an appointment and met staffers at her hotel room door wearing only a towel after stepping out of the shower.

    * Threw tantrums over derisive press clippings and brought support staffers to tears.

    * Refused interview prep before the Katie Couric session.

    Etc., etc.

    Wow.

I know, I was thinking the same thing when I typed it. But if they were women staffers ... Oh, never mind.

It was an interview with Cameron on The O'Reilly Factor tonight.

some of it if not all is true, but this is the textbook republican move, scapegoating palin instead of bush who should share alot of blame

amazing how mccain and the republicans thought they could just pick up a ditz off the street to run for vp and steal the hillary voters

Um... the election is over. Sarah is back in Alaska. As horrible as negitive campaigning is during the election it is a part of the process. Continuing to do it to the side that lost the day after the election is just mean spirited and wrong.

    Please stop.

I know! what a dope! And remember the time that she said she had been to 57 states so far with 1 more to go! She really embarressed herself there.

Or even funnier, the time she tought FDR was president in the 20's and that the television was invented by then. Talk about clueless.

I actually agree with jc on this (Amazing as that sounds). Are we supposed to beleive the woman has been as successful as she has (she was elected governor you know) being THAT stupid. I doupt it.

I read this as a lame attempt to from inside to avoid the very REAL reason. McCain was a sh~tty candidate in a year that would have taken a very good candidate.

In 4 years, once the Barack experiment is over and the pubs pulls their collective head out of their asses, I think you'll actually see her back in the national spotlight. Behind Jindal I hope though.

Let's see, if you are a McCain aide, do you accept responsibility that you ran a crappy campaign against a well-run one or deflect blame onto your number 2 whom the media has had a field day piling on already?????
    That's an easy one.......

OTOH, if Obama is successful: the economy comes back, creates jobs, ends the war in Iraq, etc, etc, how many right-wingers are going to give him credit? Remember, Clinton wasn't responsible for the surplus during his terms.

The problem is you are engaging in wishful thinking.

She has made it very clear that you WILL hear from her in future elections.

Yeah, but if you are a McCain aide, what does that say about YOU and MCCAIN??????

Nice vetting process. Would have felt real safe as an American with that operation in the White House?

Please. Palin knows Africa is a continent and Obama knows there aren't 57 states. The sad thing is that some people fall for this rhetoric, but my God the utter contempt for Palin is amazing.

Yes she's an unqualified rookie at this point that has made some embarrassing gaffs and froze stiff early on in some interviews but the negative treatment of her has been off the charts.

Cripes it reminds me of terminators trying to kill John Connor before he grows up to lead his army to destroy them. Careful terminators, it’s Palin saying “I’ll be back” this time.
