Two weak governments seen by their enemies as puppets of the United States should certainly work together. I'm disappointed this is even news after all these years. I think it's a failure of American diplomacy that it took this long to get our two key allies in the region to work closely together in the WOT. But, better late than never.

All well and good, except their not traditional allies. It's good news, except that Musharref is hanging on by a string. Of course, he might be hedging that his best chance at holding onto power is with outside intervention (namely US). We've been putting tremondous pressure on then. Of course the recent emptying of the AQ camps is obvious evidence that his leadership circles has already alerted them to all this. That's not really news, is it? Pakistan is in DEEP DODOO.

Get ready for some bombs falling on some empty training camps fairly quickly without significant effect

Also... standard disclaimers apply --- Pledging support and providing support are NOT the same.
