    No Jersey Selected

Unfortunately, it appears that Seyton is going to catch another break:
temps could be in the 40s at kickoff.

I'm getting a little tired of all the whining about this upcoming Super Bowl. Last I checked, this was football and football was meant to be played in the elements.

I think it's a real shame when a team is built to play in a dome at 72 degrees and then in the playoffs they are never forced to play in the elements, including a cushy Super Bowl. You know, the Colts and Saints teams in recent years. That seems criminal.

I cannot stand the whining about the weather and that it is somehow taking something away from the event, which somehow ought to be played like a video game.

Adverse weather is part of the game, and adapting better to harsh conditions is also. To have to play well anywhere, under any conditions, is a mark of excellence.

As a fan, if I were attending in person, for sure I'd rather be comfortable. But I'm not, so I'm interested in how they deal with it. Personally I hope Pay-me-a-ton is launching wounded ducks all day.

If I was going to the game it would suck if it was cold but then again I wouldn't be going unless I won tickets so there's no way I'd be complaining. It's looking like the temperatures will be in the mid 30s at kickoff and dropping so we can only hope the cold affects Peyton :D

I totally agree that the location should not be selected based on the weather or if it's going to be indoors or outdoors, every stadium should have a chance to host the game.

I'm sure the owners of the Jets and Giants think it's a great idea to be playing an outdoor SB. With the help of the former Jet employee turned Commish, they dangled that carrot in front of their fans and sucked them into paying top dollar up front for PSL's. I wonder what % of those fans actually got a ticket to the game.

The location for this Super Bowl was a stupid, idiotic idea that will only benefit the weasels in New York who pushed this through. Pete Rozell must be rolling in his grave,

The whole point of Super Bowl week is to enjoy a party atmosphere but how can you do that in in NYC in Jan.? Ridiculous and stoooopid. They dodged a bullet this time, but still it is a lame idea. Super Bowls should be in warm fun places that fans might actually want to vacation in such as New Orleans or even Hawaii but not a miserable, gray NYC.

The only thing that is ridiculous and stupid are the people who think the week before the game is more important than the game. I don't give a crap where Maxim holds their big Super Bowl party. I want to see good football and I have no problem with it being played in the elements.
