Just throwing a little levity into this dark, dark day ... ;)

Very funny!!!!

:p

It is funny but it hits the nerves a little raw right now :(

Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh .... THE RIGHT STUFF ...

I don't know too much about NFL kicking...this is a mechanics issue, I'm sure. his kicks looks straight, just low. This can be fixed, can't it?

Not to add another topic on the kicker, but this is a big concern.. This is the worst thing , next to what is happening with Brady right now, that could happen to the Pats.. I dont know but the pats should have kept Adam V talks will be larger and larger now... This is not a good way for him to start..

Tune in next week to find the answer to this perplexing question. ;)

Rookie kickers always struggle. They are inconsistent. It's the norm, and in no way means Gostkowski isn't going to turn out to be a good kicker.

The Pats knew this when the brought him in. You sacrifice the present somewhat in exchange for getting a long term, solid kicker in the future. We could have brought in a vet who might have done better this year but would have been gone in a year or two and we would be back where we started. Down the road he will probably be better than any veteran we could have brought in off the street as well. We just have to get through the inevitable rookie rough patch and I bet it will pay off in the future.

Nice one, gave me a chuckle.

Gost's plant foot slipped, not an issue, next.?

I heard that as well. He was kicking on the bare part of the field on the dirt.

Oh this is a bad, bad joke :) I didn't want to come on here today and see all the depressing posts, but this one made me laugh!!

Brady says to Belichick, "Hey Coach, it's Deion, can you pick up the phone?"

"Sure, is he holding on for me?"

"No, he's holding out for money."

"Uh huh." Belichick scratches his nose. "Then I might as well put down the receiver."
