Has anybody looked at their roster/depth chart lately after losing all these players?

Joseph gone to the Texans (supposedly got pissed at numerous lowballs from Cincy, despite saying he wanted to stay), no more Ocho, I can't imagine any Palmer either... he seems pretty serious about retiring if he doesn't get his way. Cedric Benson was just in jail, and isn't under contract anyway I don't think.

Aside from a few promising young guys on that D, from top to bottom, and that includes their awful management of Brown and Lewis, this team is in major trouble.

I would nottt want to be a Bungals fan... haha

As I've said: I feel so sorry for Andy Dalton.
As someone else said, Mike Brown has to be one of the worst owners in sports. He trades 85 for peanuts, and then refuses to trade Palmer, basically out of spite, rather than get something useful in return.

Going for Luck imo

the bengals weren't going anywhere.......

ocho is not the guy to start working with dalton......dalton needs younger guys to throw to.....which is why they drafted AJ green

Unfortunately this seems to be par for the course in Bengals history. A few .500 seasons doesn't change the fact that it's never been a respected organization, and likely won't until ownership changes.

I don't understand how Marvin Lewis still has a job.

He works for a low salary and they don't want to pay for two coaches at once so they won't can him.

If that's the case, Luck is really going to regret not coming out last year. He should just try and stay in school an extra year to avoid Cincy.

They just extended him though so they didn't need to pay two coaches if they let him go. Basically, the Bengals job is the worst in the NFL. Lewis complained about the practice facility and that they had the smallest scouting staff in the NFL. Brown refused to improve any of it, and Lewis signed back up anyways. I don't think I've ever seen the amount Lewis gets paid, but I'll speculate it's definitely in the bottom half of the league.

I think it's more of a case of why does Lewis stay in Cincinnati. I guess since he hasn't done anything special, he's not going to get paid more elsewhere as his next job might need to be a step back to a coordinator role.

That's because no other coaches want to go there? Why? Cause Mike Brown is a cheap SOB who won't cede GM powers to another GM or the head coach.

Worst part is that when Mike Brown dies, his idiot daughter is in charge and she is dumb as rocks. I pity the Bengals.
They are 60 million under the cap and they didn't even bother locking up their two best CB's...best CB's in their division. Pathetic. I think most bengal fans wouldn't shed a tear when those two morons (the Browns) DIAF.

Worst franchise in the NFL. They were handed a franchise quarterback on a silver platter. Five years ago, there was no way you could fail if you had Brady, Manning, or Palmer. And while he did have a bad knee injury, so did Brady. That whole team just came apart at the seams.
