I don't. I feel sorry for folks making minimum wage and are broke. Not fools who blow $80 million dollars.

I don't disagree but it's also criminal that he's paying $45K a MONTH for child support.

I probably shouldn't have said anything, it will move from anything football related. I'll just stand behind what I said (and no, I am not divorced and pay no child support).

There is something wrong with Terrell Owens. Possibly a personality disorder of some sort.

Yeah, 45K a month is just utterly ridiculous. 45K a YEAR could even be viewed as excessive.

I feel bad for him because it seems he has some severe mental issues and apparently no one has helped/forced him to deal with it. Throw all the money and fame out the window and look at the person. He's obviously had problems his whole life and being 38, having had fame, and now without friends, money, or a job, it's got to be as tough a time as ever for him. Fame and money don't solve your problems, in fact, they can often make them worse.

It's really hard to feel sorry for anyone who squandered that much, not only because they had it to begin with but because it is obvious that no matter how much they had they would have blown that much, an extra 20 million simply would have postponed the inevitable for a few more months.

Why feel sorry for ANYONE who has made $80MM?

The only reason he could be broke is because he messed up in a huge way.

    For four kids? Daaaaaaamn.

Regardless, the $45k for the four kids was in line with what the guy was worth. Here's an idea: don't throw L'il TO in random chicks and expect no fallout.

Well, everyone's got personality quirks, but I was thinking more like narcissistic personality disorder. He really fits the bill.

I'd love to see a more in depth article on how he ended up broke. It'd be real interesting to see how much money he netted after taxes, how much he paid out in child support, and how he invested the rest. It seems hard to fathom that he thought it was wise to put almost all his money into risky business ventures and properties.

This. That's what makes the vitriol directed towards him from sports fans sad to me.

People are happy he's failed when all he's ever done is clearly have personality issues.

Meanwhile Joe Paterno enables a child rapist for a decade and is immortalized.

How can you feel sorry for a guy who says this about his kids:

"If there's anything I'm sorry about, it's getting involved with all that." He never actually dated any of the women, he says. One was a one-night stand, the others "repeat offenders." Owens, who has never been married, concedes he is "not a very good judge of character." Still, he "never suspected they were the types to do what they done in the past year."

There are many people in this world who value their children more than their money.

Yes, and what makes me pity him is that you just don't cure a personality disorder. I'm not sure it could ever be fixed. He may have made 80 million at one point but he has a life no one should envy for any reason.

He made $80,000,000. His children deserve to be supported at the lifestyle they would have been if he was a good parent.

On his character, and I have this on a decent source...TO used to engage in 'shady things' while playing for the 49ers...

I don't want to get into details...but when I heard the allegid tales...I had to keep confirmig that the source was talking about THE T.O....the 49ers wide reciever...the source kept saying "YES"

    dude has issues...

I dunno...there was post yesterday about how if the SB was in NO instead of Indy said fan would have sold his kids on the black market. But not worth selling off the kids just for Indy.

Wehn I say that I feel a little sorry for the guy, it seems that he trusted the wrong people with his money and they screwed him. His agent, who was seen everywhere with TO when TO was in the limelight, brought in those people to invest for him. Now he seems to have abandoned him.

It is hard to feel bad for a guy who seemed to be so egotisical and did not take care of his own business. But maybe I'm just a softy.

The situation he is in is totally of his own making. Utter lack of accountability. It's always someone else's fault, from the 4 seperate supposedly skanks HE managed to impregnate including the last one's child he has never set eyes on he's so angry that happened...to the teamates who inexplicably undercut him and the agent who enabled him to even earn $80M to the media who painted him as exactly who and what he is...

No sympathy whatsoever. And $130K per babymama household per kid isn't excessive for a guy making $2M even last season, let alone one who has apparently blown through $80M in a little more than a decade.

That's his story, nut, but Rosenhaus is the same guy who got him $80M to begin with. Drew is an enabler, but he gets them what they want. And it seems in TO's case what comes after that is always someone else's fault.

That is my take. Exactly how much of that $80M was bad investments and how much was spent on strippers.

As I stated....its rather shocking. I seriously had to interrupt the story like a dozen times to make sure the source was talking about Owens.

I have good sources sometimes. A few years back while watching the draft with some Raider fans, a friend told me: "Jamarcus is on that purple drank...the syzurp."

    I didn't believe it.

Next year the story comes out...

The TO stuff is worse in my opinion, although a very different accuasation. Sine nothing has come out about it, I brushed it off...but when I see stuff like this, or his attempted suicide, or the stuff with McNabb, or him crying about Tony Romo...I always come back to what I was told and wonder....

I think we can all agree the dude is shady...and mental.

Thanks Joker, but I said I was broke and friendless, I was hoping that you would offer money too. Friendship ain't going to put food on the table unless you own Facebook.

BTW, thanks to the people who decided that they would click the like button on my admitting I am broke and friendless. I wonder how many likes I could get if I announced that my dog died and I am homeless.
