I have trained hard and posted hard and loyal...I want to get recognized as an All-Pro like NEM ... . The system is way flawed... a senior citizen gets to be an old pro while younger more viral posters are mere practice squad. second teams and 1st teams. :(

Here we are .. posted our butts off for one of the NFL'S TRULY BEST TEAMS... and what do we have 1 ALL-Pro ... NEM ???
Is he stuffing the ballot box? Bribing the Commissioner???

All kidding aside ... how the frig' can you get elected All-Pro here???

NEM's been an All Pro since like day 3 of the new board...
I think he sends Ian Arizona Lottey tickets. RED FLAG TIME.

I've been trying to just get to experienced starte for a while.

My self esteem has taken a big hit from this ranking system. ;)

Just start threads bashing the DC and things will turn around very fast.

But seriously, I'd like it a whole lot more if there were no post count shown or have it invisable. I know that all the boards show it but it would be nice for new members to come not be intimidated by people with "high post counts". Actually, it means nothing anayway.

    Here's another one for me!

As an "experienced starter" I don't mind having to wait a bit for "All Pro" status - though it seems to me that 10,000 posts should be something significant (if it isn't already).

I might suggest that non-football related posts not be counted (sorry NEM ;) ) as they have little to do with anyone's "football" status.

But out of respect to NEM I think we need some categories beyond All-Pro

Might I suggest "Brett Farve" for those who have long passed their All-Pro status and just don't know when to "retire"? ;)

I'm a mere starter. OK, I'm willing to play where the team needs me, but I'd really like to know where that is. I've been trying to learn gameplans but it is asking a lot to learn all the Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams schemes. Can someone help me out here?

Yes, I only have 9,965 posts to go to be an 'all pro' poster.

NEM ... you have posted down to the very SOUL of this board...

therefore you can choose either of these:

    NEMologian ... as in theologian.

    or

Sir NEMaLot .... you can be knighted ... or should that be Matt Lighted?

NEM at 67 you must have a great collection of Patriots items

as long as you stay away from the Patriots diapers you should

reach 100K in posts with no problem ... that's like Red Auerbach

    territory of sports legend.

anyways ... this thread is likely to head anywhere .... so, while we're

off the beaten track ... what is your oldest Patriots gear?

    I live 50 yds from Santarpio's in E.Boston....better
place is Caffe Italia or Jeveli's.

Many years ago, above Santarpio's was a Jazz Club
    called the Top Hat........Real,old time,jazz.....
    Had many Sambuca's there(not Romana,but Molinari Sambuca......the best.)
Frank and his crew would drop in when he was in town(after eating at Felicia's in the N.end.....ughh!).
All the great clubs are gone, now, but I still have my prodigous Jazz collection on Cd.

    Willow weep for me.......

NEMSTER......you're a wild man.....and we're definately on opposite political spectrums.....but,there's no one are rather meet and talk to than you.

You've got that rare combination of memory and passion.

To paraphrase the poet....."you can hear the caged bird sing"
