I didn't get to watch the game, so I was curious beyond the score how the teams compared (Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets - Box Score - September 13, 2010 - ESPN)

Total plays: Bal: 75 vs NYJ: 44
Time of Poss: 38.5 vs 21.5
Yds per rush: 1.4 vs 5.5

Here are the two that King Rex must be smoked over:

3rd down eff: 11-19 vs 1-11
Penalties: 5-38 vs 14-125

Fourteen penalties! Yeow! Perhaps a bit over aggressive???

The place was loud! (I did see a bit.)

Not a good start to the Jets season. What drama for next week!!

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Man I wish Hard Knocks was still going. If it was and they showed this upcoming week after this game, would be eppiiiiicccc

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Just like Hard Knocks....undisciplined and Sanchez stinks...nice play to end the game!

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

for pure joy, pelase head over to jetsinsider - absolute christmas morning stuff for Pats fans.

THey are actually pining for Mangini! Priceless....

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Another stat that Rexy will be crying over his cheeseburger about: 2 fumbles (1 lost) by Greene, plus that drop at the end.

The Jets are undisciplined and have NO offense. The defense is legit, 100%...perhaps the best in the league depending on whether the issues with Cromartie and Wilson were an abberation or not. But you just can't be an elite team with an offense THAT bad.

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

I think it's safe to say that we won't be running the ball next week. We need Edel-binky back!

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

LMAO
I think Brady had more passing yards on our first drive than the Jets had all night

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

The OL is going to have their work cut out for them - but I'm sure Brady will have a lot of short dump options - and for once he's got the TEs to turn to in that situation.

But still, the speed rushers are not Matt Light's forte... perhaps Vollmer at LT?

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Yes Edel-binky and more passes to Hernandez. Spread it everywhere, to everyone. An entire game under center and 3-step drops.

The biggest thing though ....... is to be patient ........ they'll have trouble moving the ball anyway. If it's not there, we should punt and play field position.

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

that was a fun game now lets go eat a god damn snack

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Leading receiver:
Boldin - 7 catches for 110 yards
Cotchery - 2 catches for 18 yards

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I tried, and I couldn't get on - it said too many connections. Probably Jets fans crying over their laptops and shorting out the system. :)

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Yeah, but what does the SwaggerTrac say?

Yeah, but what does the SwaggerTrac say?

That's actually the one thing that they can cling to, at least. They lost with a lot of swagger.

The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

I had money on the Ravens, which usually would leave mena
Drunk paranoid fool. Once the Ravens took the lead early on... I knew I won the money. Thats how bad the jets offense was. Never even a threat to do anyrhing.

Re: The team stats for Jets/Ravens: revealing!!

Did anyone else catch sometime during the 4th quarter, Sanchez was trying to do a PAP, and it looked like the RB was almost 2 or 3 yards past Sanchez when he actually did the fake

People should also remember that it's Marty Shottenheimer's son who is in charge of the offense. Apparently the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
