Javon Walker was unable to finish Raiders practice Wednesday due to continued trouble with his hamstring.

"Here’s the guy who was supposed to be the No. 1 receiver when he comes in," coach Lane Kiffin said. "Unfortunately he’s had some issues and he’s had the injuries, and here we go again." Walker is uncertain to face the Bills.

    2. DT Tommy Kelly who they decided to make the highest paid DT ever was arrested for DUI sunday night.

    3. Instead of taking care of argueably the best CB in football (Nhamdi) they overpay for DeAngelo Hall who has totally sucked the first 2 weeks.

On top of all these issues Iam sure you've all heard about the dysfunctional relationship (if you wana call it that) between Al Davis and Kiffin who won't last til mid season. Just seems like they have one issue or bad decision after another.

Sounds like Lane is having a blast.

For some reason, they never recovered from that SB annihilating defeat to the Bucs in '02.

I remember Al Davis opened up his pocket book and loaded up...gambling knowing that it would be a ONE shot deal.

They had a very good team, yes-but it was old, and after that SB, they were $40m over the salary cap.

Since then, players got angry and started turning on coaches. Al went back to his control-freak ways.

Good for us. Moss and Lamont Jordon. May the Raiders stay dysfunctional and continue to provide us with good players in the future.

I do feel bad from them in a weird way. Their loss in the playoffs at Foxboro sort of catapulted this franchise into superstardom.

I really can't believe what bad luck they've been having these last few years. I was watching Jamarcus Russell the other night wondering how he could've been a first overall pick in the draft. Can you even imagine what Pioli and Belichick could do with a first overall draft pick? Anyway, the team really is in shambles and I hope that someday they'll be able to win more than four games in a season.

They've dug their own grave, so I don't really feel bad for them. Paying Kelly and Hall the type of money that they paid them is the kind of crap that gets teams in holes like this.

He finally came back at the end of that game against the Broncos to score a TD. It wasn't pretty and the Broncos D was a little rough but he finally managed to sail one into the endzone. I forget the exact contract he got, but he really managed to milk a ton out of the Raiders and he's not even good.

Not to mention their stadium is a complete dump (one of two to be shared with MLB) - a concrete disgrace. In the fall when it is shared, they roll the A's bleachers out into the parking lot (plenty of space because only about 7k fans show up for the As this time of year). A concrete plant is closer to the stadium than a lot of the parking for fans.

Now call me a maniac, but I think I have a solution for this. Have both games at the same time. Now I'm not a baseball fan so I have no idea if the A's are a good team, but I know for a fact that the Raiders have no action. Have both games going on simultaneously. That'd be a surefire way to sell out the stadium.

Or just move the Raiders to Connecticut. Connecticut has been wanting its own team for quite some time. They tried to steal our beloved Patriots.

Hopefully Asomugha is the next Raider to suit up for us... probably too good to be true though.

I work with a Raiders fan who was so hopeful for this season. I gently reminded him that his team sucks and they overpaid for alot of unproven commodities. He kindly expressed with glee, "You guys are done for the season, Brady is out!". Well, who's laughing now? Hahahohohehe. :D

I have a cousin who's a Raiders fan. It took a few seasons after 2001 to catch on but he'd trade places with us any time, including now. Until they plant Al the Raiders are DOA. Nothing else they do will substantially alter that, and the handful of rational Raider fans grasp that. Chucky and an aging Gannon were their last best hope, and when Chucky saw the futile writing on the wall and bolted before Al killed his market buzz too they were cooked.

The situation in Oakland boggles the mind.

Last week they beat the Chiefs in Kansas City and still all indications are Kiffin won't last until the team's bye week. Al Davis has become such a joke.

I have to wonder what will happen to the Raiders when Davis finally kicks the bucket. Even if Oakland wants to, I doubt it can pay for a new stadium, and unless the new owner is loaded like Bob Kraft and willing to pony up for it himself or herself, the Raiders should be prime candidates to move again...

and where would they go??? What city in California might want them???

    Think carefully...

The perfect venue for the Raiders would be Las Vegas. Both the team and the city are built up from great-looking facades, lots of glitter and hype, and they'll take your money and leave you like a jilted bride, waiting for that big score that will never come.

The Las Vegas Raiders. Sounds like a match made in hel, er, marketing heaven :)

The way I feel about the Faiders It would love to see them lose the next 20 games. That classless organization and those so called fans deserve it.

While many have let known their disdain for the Jets this past week, to me the Raiders would be the last team I would ever feel sorry for.

    1. Daryl Stingley
    2. The Ben Dreith phantom roughing-the-passer game
    3. Their whining to every other fan base that the Pats legacy is somehow tainted due to tuck rule (wrong, it was the correct call!) game.

Even without #2 and #3, Jack Tatum's attempt to cash in for profit off that hit and his lack of remorse, along with the Raiders fans attempt to portray him as a sympathetic hero, results in the Raiders remaining my most hated team.

Funny how all these other fans talk about 'karma' with the SB loss and Brady's knee, but nobody says that about the Raiders, which would be far more appropriate.

This is an interesting one. It seems so ludicrous on the face of it that the phrase that leaps to mind is "it takes two to tango." I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to work out a long-term deal with Asomugha first but he said "no thanks, I'm taking my fabulous talent out of this dysfunctional dump in 2009." That's certainly what I'd say in his place.
