has it really hit any of you as yet? Seriously, did any of us think Welker would put up 112 receptions, 1,175 yards, and 8 TD's this season? Remember, Branch's best statistical season had him 2 yards short of 1,000, and he was NE's No. 1 receiver that year. His high in receiving TD's was only 5, and Welker's 8 TD's is higher than any other WR Brady has thrown to not named Randy Moss. Yea, a lot of us thought he was going to be good, and could possibly be like having a younger Troy Brown, but did any of us think he would put up those numbers, especially his first year in the system? Frankly, I thought Moss would have 1,100-1,200 yards, but I didn't expect Welker to come just 25 yards short of 1,200. Really, it's almost insane to think about, especially since Moss put up his numbers (98 receptions, 1,493 yards, and 23 TD's), too.
