A year off? He's getting off lightly.

While a known animal torturer is reinstated and gets to sign with a team.

Goodell is a horse's @ss, and obviously schizo in his attitudes. The judge sentenced Stallworth to 30 day's time. Goodell's response should be proportionate, if anything.

Vick has had two years on the bricks, so now he's able to re-enter the NFL. Stallworth will do his time and also get to come back like Vick is doing, except Stallworth will have only missed a year. I think it's all pretty appropriate. In any case, suspensions are for violations of league rules, the length of a criminal sentence is not terribly relevant. The same crime in different jurisdictions can be treated more or less seriously, while the damage to the league would be similar. Stallworth will have a chance to redeem himself, but now he needs to take his medicine, something he seems to understand.

If it's irrelevant, point that out to the person making the irrelevant claim, rather than someone who's just correcting his mistake in a response to it.
Fine. Let this apply to all who read this thread: you are irrelevant. That includes me.
