I can't believe that I just heard this from the morons on ESPN.

The context? They were dicussing how the play-offs in the NFL are different than the rest of the major sports where they have 5 and 7 game series, but the NFL is a one and done.

I am not positive, but I think it was Jaworski who said it.
 
He's right, this year only. The Patriots didn't win but they are the best team. I think that's waht he meant.

* I don't think the Patriots were the best team in the NFL in 2001. Even BB said to his old friend(and Pats employee) Ernie Adams after that game, "Can you believe we won the SB with this team?" So I don't think BB even thought he had the best team either. The Patriots were the best team on that particular day in that SB. That's why there are upsets.
