Holy cow. I knew it was loud..but it gets loud and quick
more OT from this thread
Every time i see Lynch on TV..he busts out these improbable runs..wow
Anyone know if this team ever talked to buffalo about Lynch?
It's also a beautiful stadium. Was disappointed the Pats game was so late in the season when they played there, I would have liked to have driven out there.
You can just tell the way it's built...built for noise
Been to two games there, including the Pats in '08. Great place to watch a game and it's a great crowd.
Philly looks like a team that has quit. They know their playoff chances are goned.
It is no accident that their stadium is loud; it was built with just that in mind.
The architects hired to build the stadium were specifically instructed to make it loud - despite the constraint of it also being an open-air stadium.
A couple of things that they did to accomplish this was to include aluminum bleachers rather than plastic or padded seats, and a curved roof that causes sound to be retained and reverberate.
In addition the space in which they were allotted to build was much smaller than any other newer NFL stadium, so other modern conveniences such as wider concourses - which as a by-product dissipate noise - are not as prevalent here.
Doubtful - the main reason Buffalo dumped him was due to his long list of off the field issues.
More importantly how dumb does Buffalo look for replacing Marshawn Lynch with CJ Spiller.
Loud stadium......Quiet team in the standings
Desean Jackson is not making much of an argument for a big payday with his performance so far this evening.
I would love DeSean in a pats uniform.Sure he is a headcase but i think the marriage with the eagles is turning sour.I can see them parting ways. The eagles have Maclin and Selek. They can draft a wr through the draft.
Nice TD catch by Tate
The eagles defense has been a joke.Their LBs are terrible.Safeties as well. They wasted all the money on a pass rushers and a CB.They didnt even need a pass rusher.
Dream team...ha ha ha
But still, tons of folks will STILL listen to over blown hype next off season.
They will never win a superbowl with Vick taking snaps. The guy cant stay healthy through 16 games.I also dont think he is a big time QB.
If Dog Killing was a sport,Vick would be a first ballot Hall Of Famer
Still, there pretty dedicated to there Seahawks, some Pats fans could learn from them.
Vince Young is Tebowing.
Ummm... is Young "Tebowing"? :bricks:
I think I'll give the Eagles fan in my building a hug tomorrow afternoon.
Because Lynch is having a good game?
Besides, they replaced him w/ Jackson; not Spiller.
well at least Philly fans can't make fun of us anymore Scratch one team off the list
I live in Seattle and have been to a few games over the years. It is INCREDIBLY loud there. I have left the games with my ears ringing. If you're going to go to the Clink you should bring ear plugs.
Dude! I actually went to that game! You're talking about the 2008 game right?
They had a RB pair of Lynch and Jackson, then they let Lynch go and replaced him with Spiller to get Jackson/Spiller.
The funniest thing, IMO, is how many first round picks the Bills have used on RBs. They drafted McGahee in the first, then let him go and drafted Lynch in the first, then let him go and drafted Spiller in the first. THe best part is, if you could rank the three of them on this year's production, you'd probably go with McGahee > Lynch > Spiller.
If you'd bother to watch the NFL, you'd realize Lynch is having a very good season, in particular down the stretch.
Jackson + Lynch is better than Jackson + Spiller. If you don't agree, that's your problem.
He's doing okay; he's still pretty inconsistent.
But the point is, they made the decision to start Jackson. They're not going to pay Lynch 1st rounder money to sit. And Jackson is way better.
LOL. The hawks are trying to run up the score on the eagles. Too funny.
