Holly just told Vince (he did not know), Vince was shocked. Says he is a "reall good dude".

Vince is really shaken up over this.

Not that getting that type of news is good in any manner but on the radio has got to suck. I'd certainly prefer in private.

My wife had her femoral artery severed years ago, and while she fortuately lived, the loss of blood killed off the muscles in her lower leg, and she has no movement below the knee.

I hope Sean Taylor recovers, but his playing career is definitely in jeopardy. Obviously, that's unimportant now.

Unfortunately, in trying to control hemorrhaging by stopping the bleeding (hemostasis) in femoral injuries, other organs and parts of the body can, and usually are, permanently affected.

He was staying with his girlfriend and daughter at his home in Miami while getting a second opinion on his knee.

I hope to god this is something he is going to overcome.
It just show's that you never know when you hear a weird sound you better have protection when u go to check it out.
My hopes and prayers are with him and everyone he cares about.
